Howdy!

I am honored to welcome another new class of Aggies to Texas A&M University and St. Mary’s Catholic Center. College is full of new people and experiences, and we hope that your time at A&M and St. Mary’s will be one of growth in knowledge and faith.

St. Mary’s sponsors over 80 different organizations and programs that allow students to learn about their faith, minister to the parish community, attend retreats, serve others through charitable work, hone leadership skills, and much more.

We also have opportunities for Eucharistic adoration, sacramental preparation, opportunities to help with liturgy and music and other forms of Catholic devotions and prayers. There is a Catholic sorority for women and a Knights of Columbus council for men. We have an active Spanish community and Korean community as well.  Lastly, there is the Catholic Students Association, which helps bring all of these groups together and hosts activities at A&M.

I hope you’ll consider St. Mary’s your “home away from home,” where you can worship God, learn more about your Catholic faith and enjoy many fun social activities.

I would love for you to stop by and introduce yourself to me or any one of our campus ministry staff. We’re here after Mass every weekend, after daily Mass at 5:30 p.m. during the week, or you can join us at one of our scheduled events.  We look forward to meeting you!

Yours in Jesus Christ,
Fr. David Konderla
