Dear Friends in Christ:

Welcome to the Newman Catholic Student Center, your Catholic parish at NIU. I hope that you’ll come to know the Newman Center as your spiritual home away from home: a place to pray, study, connect with others, and grow in your faith. As your pastor, I hope to continue in Newman’s welcoming tradition that has helped so many in the university community to know Christ’s presence and His peace.

No matter what stage you’re at in your spiritual journey, you’ll find that we at Newman try to live out a spirit of acceptance and encouragement to all who are seeking to grow. There are many ways to get involved in the life of the parish community and to have fun while you’re doing it!  I encourage you to explore the pages of our website to see where the Lord is calling you.

You are welcome to contact me or any of the staff members any time you have questions or if you need to visit. May God bless you now and always.

Fr. Kyle Manno
