The lifeblood of every non-profit lies in the people who are there to help advise with the company direction, vision, mission, and even help in execution. We believe we have a perfect mix of lay leaders and spiritual leaders to help Catholic Campus Ministry become a real strength for the Catholic Church. These members were carefully selected and elected to serve as advisors to Newman Connection and Catholic Campus Ministry.
Bill is the President and Spiritual Leader of our team. Over the years, Bill has been involved with numerous projects involving chaplaincy and undergraduate students, including the work of St. John’s Catholic Newman Center at the University of Illinois in Champaign. Bill has a long history of helping those within the church. In addition to Managing and supporting Newman Connection, he also runs Three Z Printing with his 2 brothers located in Teutopolis, IL.
Lorraine is the Treasurer and Co-Owner of Three Z Printing Company. She is the mother of Bill Zerrusen, our Executive Director. At Three Z Printing she is responsible for all account receivable issues along with all of the finances as well as all personnel. She has a very strong devotion to our Blessed Mother and has a prayer group in central Illinois that is United with Newman Connection on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Randy is the face of the Newman Connection, on the road meeting and visiting with every Newman Center throughout the United States. He is responsible for understanding the needs of the Newman Centers, gathering critical research and data to allow us to create the right programs that will drive growth and success for Newman Centers and Newman Connection. Randy also handles growth strategies for the company and identifying the right opportunities for continued growth.
Monsignor Gregory Ketcham is the Chaplain at St. Johns Catholic Newman Center located on the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana campus. Newman Hall has an almost 600 bed faith based residence hall for students wanting to live, learn and pray while away at College. Monsignor helps Newman Connection with programming and spiritual guidance making sure that we stay relevant with today’s college student.
Fr. Tony Stephens comes to us from the Fathers of Mercy in Auburn, Kentucky. He joined the Fathers of Mercy in 2000. He studied for the priesthood at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio, and he was ordained a priest in 2005. Fr. Tony is one of three priests featured in our Exploring YOUCAT series and is instrumental in helping us with our programming and on-campus outreach.
Monsignor Morris is the Director of Sacred Liturgy at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, OH. He graduated with a degree in theology and Church history from Kenrick School of Theology and a licentiate in sacred theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum of St. Anselm (Rome). He heads up our Spiritual Advisory Board and is in charge of Newman Connection programming and spiritual direction.
